The Rt Revd Andrew Proud - Bishop of Reading
with Ron Ponting

A parishioner, Mr Ron Ponting expressed a wish to the PCC to commission in memory of his family a new stained glass window for the window in the SW corner of the church. The window in question is the 2-light rectangular window that is found in the south wall by the entrance door. This window is currently constructed from clear lead-lighted Victorian glass, presumably put in at the time of the Victorian renovations, 1860-1879 of the Church.

A short film showing the creation of a new stained glass window for
St Mary's Church, Sulhamstead Abbotts near Reading, Berkshire
The Family Tree Window was designed and made in 2015 by
Rachel Phillips a stained glass artist based in Wales, UK.
